Welcome – Our Kanab ride was a great success. We started the first day with 41 machines. We
rode to the Peekaboo. On our way to the first stop, we encountered some deep lose sand. We
had several machines struggling. This delayed the ride for quite a while. I was approached by a
new member, let’s just say they weren’t thrilled of the holding time we had while waiting for
machines to climb the sandy hill. As we have explained, we do our best to mitigate all
foreseeable issues, but occasionally things do not go smoothly. We when encounter difficulties
please be patient, we will get things moving as quickly and safely as possible.
We then rode to Brown’s Canyon Hoodo’s. Cool, interesting formations to be viewed. From
there when rode to hidden lake. Hidden lake was very interesting as it was truly hidden inside a
cave. It was worth the stop.
On day two we left the staging area with 38 machines. We immediately tackled the sand that
had given us trouble on day one. Almost every machine and rider handled it without issue.
Experience from the previous day was extremely helpful in managing this obstacle. From the
sand we rode a very nice track that led us to Hell’s Dive. The track was amazing, very little
traffic and the trail was a blast to rally through. Everyone reported having a great time (with the
exception of the one person on the first day).
We would like to shoot a big thank you to Charlie Stevenson. Charlie agreed to guide these
rides for us. He spent weeks riding the area preparing for our visit. This was at some cost to
him; due to the fact he lives over an hour away in Panguitch. He did an amazing job and was a
heck of a lot of fun to be around. Charlie will try to attend our Teasdale ride. When you see him,
please take the time to thank him for his efforts for our Club.
New Information
Most members are aware that at each monthly meeting we ask everyone to sign in upon
arrival. With the completed sign in forms, from the meeting we determine who attends the
most meetings and a prize is awarded for that members participation. This has been done twice
a year. With the use of live streaming this allows an unfair advantage to those that attend in
person.
It has been decided that beginning in July 2022 we are going to change this process. Instead of
awarding members that attend the most meetings, we are going to reward members that
attend the most rides. This will be done twice a year. Jan-June and July-Nov (there is no ride in
December as that’s when we hold our annual Christmas dinner). The process will be simple.
Upon arrival at a ride, report to the sign in area (usually the Club Trailer) look for the Club
Secretary Alisa Carlson (or her designee) and sign in. The member with the most attended rides
will be selected to receive the preplanned gift. In the event of a tie or multiple members
attending the same number of rides, all the names will be placed in a hat and a winner will be
drawn.
We hope this process works well, however if it does not, we will make the necessary changes to
try and ensure all members are afforded the same opportunities to win a prize for their
participation.
JUNE RIDE
For June the plan is to ride out of Vernal. Several members will be camping. There are hotels
nearby for those that require accommodations. All experienced riders know the trail conditions
can vary drastically, from dry to muddy and covered in snow. We should anticipate everything
and plan accordingly. If you need assistance or have questions, please contact one of your
board members. You can find staging and ride details on the website.
JULY RIDE
Please note, we are changing the date for our July ride to July 9
th
. In July we will be riding the
Hardware Ranch area to Bear Lake (RASBERRY SHAKES), now on July 9th. This is a single day
ride.
In addition to our July ride, our Club was contacted by B’s Hangout. There are currently some
issues in Eureka. The city counsel is not thrilled with ATV/UTV traffic in the area. B’s has asked
for some support – hence why we changed the July Club ride to July 9th. The owner has been a
long-time supporter of our Club and when we are in town, he ensures that he has the staffing
to handle our needs. With this request this request, this is why we have elected to change the
day of our July ride. We wanted to show our support. Again, instead of riding the typical 3rd
Saturday of the month, we will hold our July ride on July 9th
. We hope this is not a huge
inconvenience, but we believe it is important to support those that support us.
To show our support we would like to invite anyone interested to participate in the 1st annual
B’s Hangout nighttime poker run. The ride will be held on July 16th and begin at 9 PM. Please
look to our website for additional information. And as always, if you have questions, please
contact a member of the board.
Please continue to RSVP in the events on the website for every ride and/or the BBQ. The first
option should be utilized if you are planning on attending the BBQ. We would like to remind
you that when you RSVP for the BBQ, it is for how many members are in your party. The people
count is critical to ensure that we have enough food for everyone at the BBQ (post ride). We
would also encourage you to bring a side dish to share and provide some variety to our BBQ’s.
We seem to have less people at the BBQ than what is always RSVP’s. If your plans change and
you’re not able to attend the BBQ, please contact any board member so we can adjust the food
count we purchase, and none gets wasted or thrown away. The second option is simply to RSVP
that you are planning on attending, this will be for machine count.
Please continue to watch the website for our Sponsor of the Month. The Sponsor of the Month
will be offering amazing deals for our Club Members. To take advantage of these deals you will
be required to show your membership card. If you have not received your card within 30 days
of payment for your registration, please contact the Club Secretary to obtain your card.
Ride for Life Committee
Happy June
We are in full swing with the Ride for Life, and everything is coming together.
We took possession of the KRX 1000 and took it to Sand Hollow for their Rally on the Rock’s,
and it was a hit. We had a few companies add some awesome extras to the machine. Custom
roof, windshield, and roll cage. Nice wheels and tires. Awesome stereo and a bunch of
others. We will list everything and who donated on our social media pages. We have picked up
some new sponsors and grand prizes.
We will be out at the Real game with the KRX on June 25th. We will be having our annual BBQ
on June 11th and it will be there also.
Have you signed up to Ride with us?? No!! Get on it!😀If you don’t want to ride but still want
to come out and come to the raffle, you are welcome to. The more the merrier.
If you have any questions, please contact anyone on the RFL board.

We had a great time outside of Kanab. A big thanks to Charlies Stevenson from Panguitch,
Utah. He took us on 2 great rides.
Our next ride will be in Vernal on June 17th & 18th, 2022. The Vernal Club (URATS) will lead s us
on 2 different rides. There is a lot of Motels in Vernal to pick from. I found the best way is to
google Vernal, Utah to pick from. There is camping at Buckskin Hills Campground. This is
where the club will stage from. It is about 7 miles from Vernal. The address is 500 E Diamond
Mountain Road. No details for July due to it being planned as a day ride.
Hope to see you on the next ride.

take a couple extra minutes and check your fluids and air cleaners in your bikes. And don’t

Hello everyone. May ride was a great time. We had 32 entries in the odometer roulette game.
Melissa Pidgeon won by .7 tenths good job. Everyone seems to like the game, so we are going
to play on all the rides the rest of the year, so remember to come to the table in the morning of
the ride and sign up. On 2 day rides it will be the same day as the BBQ
Don’t forget the club meet and greet BBQ on June 11th. Everyone is welcome. There will be a
frozen T-shirt contest, a silent auction & we’ll have club merchandise available for sale. If you
plan to attend, please go into the web page in events and rsvp asap. Hope to see you all there.
THANK YOU

Please welcome our newest members:
Welcome to all our new members, we look forward to getting to know you and making fun new
memories. May’s ride was a great success, we were fortunate enough to have Charlie
Stevenson guide us through some of the most beautiful scenery in The Kanab area, including
the Coral Pink Sand dunes, slot canyons, underground caves, the cemetery for Best Friends
Animal Sanctuary, and petroglyphs. Thanks to all who shared their pictures on the club page.
There were some challenges that were a great learning experience for some, thanks to all that
helped. Good times and food were found at the BBQ, we appreciate those who brought food
and helped prepare and serve food.
New members, reach out to the current club members so they can get to know you. Bring your
friends and come ride with us in Vernal June 17th and 18th, we promise it will be memorable!
