Welcome – As the warmer weather approaches and the camping season has begun, we are
looking forward to our next ride. Our Fillmore ride was a great success. We started the day with
50 machines. We rode to the Lava tubes. For the first timers this was a great adventure walking
through the tubes. While most of us were enjoying the tubes, our tail gunners were helping a
young couple that had buried their truck to the axles in sand. We then rode to Devils Kitchen.
Interesting formations in the Lava. From there we rode to Stonehenge and onto Lace Curtain.
We rounded the lake and concluded the ride. There was a lot of wind, but in the dusty
environment it was not a horrible thing to have. Everyone reported having a great time.
We would like to shoot a big thank you to Dave Pettersson. As most of you know from riding
with us over the last year, we began having everyone tie a ribbon to the back of there machine.
We do this to ensure that everyone knows who to follow when we encounter other
machines/groups on the trail. Well Dave took it upon himself to make custom ribbons for the
Club. They are Pink to honor Cancer survivors/warriors, with the Club’s logo and a quick release
ring for easy attachment. The time and thought put into this, is amazing. So again, a HUGE
thank you to Dave for his thoughtful donation to our Club.
May RIDE
For May the plan is to ride out of Kanab. Several members will be camping. There are hotels
nearby for those that require accommodations. All experienced riders know the trail conditions
can vary drastically, from dry to muddy and covered in snow. We should anticipate everything
and plan accordingly. If you need assistance or have questions, please contact one of your
board members. You can find staging and ride details on the website.
JUNE RIDE
In June we will be riding in Vernal UT. This will be a two-day ride. Several of us will be camping
at the Buckskin Recreation Center. The URAT Club has agreed to lead our rides in the area. They
are planning to take us on the John Taylor trail and the Outlaw trails. We are looking forward to
this ride and the opportunity to work with another Club.
Please continue to RSVP in the events on the website for every ride and/or the BBQ. The first
option should be utilized if you are planning on attending the BBQ. We would like to remind
you that when you RSVP for the BBQ, it is for how many members are in your party. The people
count is critical to ensure that we have enough food for everyone at the BBQ (post ride). We
would also encourage you to bring a side dish to share and provide some variety to our BBQ’s.
We seem to have less people at the BBQ than what is always RSVP’s. If your plans change and
you’re not able to attend the BBQ, please contact any board member so we can adjust the food
count we purchase, and none gets wasted or thrown away. The second option is simply to RSVP
that you are planning on attending, this will be for machine count.
Please continue to watch the website for our Sponsor of the Month. The Sponsor of the Month
will be offering amazing deals for our Club Members. To take advantage of these deals you will
be required to show your membership card. If you have not received your card within 30 days
of payment for your registration, please contact the Club Secretary to obtain your card.

Welcoming Committee
Please welcome our newest members:
It was so fun to get to see so many members at our Fillmore ride. A fun filled day with no
mishaps or injuries. The weather was awesome, but windy and we all had a wonderful time.
The bar-b-que was a challenge in the wind. Everyone that attended enjoyed the good food and
socializing with friends.
I hope everyone is looking forward to our May ride in Kanab. It should be a fun ride with great
friends and delicious food. Be sure to bring water, snacks, lunch and something to share at the
bar-b-que.
New members, reach out to the current club members so they can get to know you. Bring your
friends and come ride with us. We promise it will be memorable!
