Welcome – We hope you’re enjoying the warmer weather. Our Vernal ride was a great success.
We started with 26 machines. Our rides were guided by URAT. To accommodate the URAT
riding style, we split our members into two groups. Travis with URAT took one group and Ryan
with URAT took the other group. One group rode part of the Outlaw trail system and the other
group rode the Robert Taylor on Friday, and we switched on Saturday. The riding was amazing,
and our hosts did a fantastic job. For those that did not attend, we would highly recommend
that you find the time to explore this beautiful part of our state.
Most of our members that camped, stayed at the Buckskin campground. Derrick with Buckskin
was incredible to work with. The camping spots were large enough for the biggest rigs. And the
cost was amazing for full hookups. One thing to note, if you take advantage of this camping
option, bring plenty of bug spray.
As we gear up for the annual Ride for Life event, please watch the website for details. If you
have not signed up yet, please consider joining us. All the proceeds go to a great cause.
Reminder of signup change
Most members are aware that at each monthly meeting we ask everyone to sign in upon
arrival. With the completed sign in forms, from the meeting we determine who attends the
most meetings and a prize is awarded for that members participation. This has been done twice
a year. With the use of live streaming this allows an unfair advantage to those that attend in
person.
It has been decided that beginning in July 2022 we are going to change this process. Instead of
awarding members that attend the most meetings, we are going to reward members that
attend the most rides. This will be done twice a year. Jan-June and July-Nov (there is no ride in
December as that’s when we hold our annual Christmas dinner). The process will be simple.
Upon arrival at a ride, report to the sign in area (usually the Club Trailer) look for the Club
Secretary Alisa Carlson (or her designee) and sign in. The member with the most attended rides
will be selected to receive the preplanned gift. In the event of a tie or multiple members
attending the same number of rides, all the names will be placed in a hat and a winner will be
drawn.
We hope this process works well, however if it does not, we will make the necessary changes to
try and ensure all members are afforded the same opportunities to win a prize for their
participation.
JULY RIDE
Please note, we are changing the date for our July ride to July 9th
. In July we will be riding the
Hardware Ranch area to Bear Lake (RASBERRY SHAKES), now on July 9th. This is a single day
ride. Please refer to the website for staging details.
Also please don’t forget about the nighttime poker run supporting B’s hangout. The ride is July
16 and details can be found on the website.

2- We have at least 8 Grand Prizes and working on more.
3- it’s hot it’s dusty and it’s fun. 🥰🥰
4- to be a part of something AMAZING.
THE KRX 1000 tickets are still available and will be up until 7 am on August 21st. Beautiful

We have some awesome Grand Prizes this year and the list is growing. The best way to get
tickets for grand prizes is to get your donation sheets and go ask for workers, friends, family,

get the more tickets you get. It only takes 1 but why not try for more. The more money the

Hello everyone Bill with the PIO group I hope you all are having a great start to the summer.
Not much going on in our world but it is going to be getting busy here soon as we get close to
the Ride for Life. Please sign up and come ride with us. This is by far the most miserable ride
you will ever do, and the scenery isn’t the best. But the smile on the wish kid’s faces when they
get their wish granted way more than makes up for that. Hope to see you out on the trails.

The next ride will be July 9, 2022. It will be around Hardware Ranch area. This is a day ride, but
there is dry camping around Hardware Ranch area for those interested in extending their
weekend.
The August 20 & 21, 2022 ride will be our annual Ride for Life benefitting Make A Wish Utah.

HI everyone,
Welcome to summer here in Utah. It is getting hot, and you need to take a couple minutes and check
some things on your bikes. First make sure you are washing out your radiator of dirt and mud, keep it
flowing. Make sure your coolant is full and check your fluids on the rest. i.e., oil front and rear diffs and
trannys. We will have a meeting about general maintenance in the next couple months. Make sure
you’re keeping up on your bikes. Happy trails! See you in the dirt.

time. And if you have any ideas for next year’s BBQ, please let us know.
For those coming to the Hardware Ranch ride, don’t forget to come over to the signup table for
the odometer roulette game. Even if you’re not participating in the game, please come sign
in. We are now trying to keep record of who comes to the rides. We hope to see you out on
the ride.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any ideas or questions.

Welcoming Committee
Welcome new members!
We are looking forward to getting to know you and making fun new memories. The June ride in
Vernal was a great success. We had two days of incredibly fun riding on The Outlaw Trail and
Taylor Mountain. We saw beautiful scenery and enjoyed the plethora of beautiful spring
wildflowers. We were able to explore an abandoned mine, a pioneer cabin, climb into a cave
and much more. The weather was great, although we had a bit of rain, but nothing that spoiled
the fun. On Friday evening we were able to share good food and great company at a club
barbeque. Everyone had a great time even though the bugs were having as good a meal as we
were.
New members, reach out to the current club members so they can get to know you. Bring your
friends and come ride with us. We promise it will be memorable!

Please keep in mind, all items purchased on the website are regular price, and will need to be
picked up, or meet me locally (Salt Lake Valley) to get you your items. We don’t ship any club
merchandise. We can also bring them to the club meetings or rides.
We’ll have the SXS items for sale at a very discounted price (much cheaper than what’s showing
