Welcome – We hope everyone has started their summers with a great memory. This month
was our second in person monthly meeting. It was great to see everyone that attended, and we
are hopeful that this will continue into the foreseeable future. For our monthly ride we spent
two days in Monument Valley. The first day was an amazing day. We left the staging area with
26 machines. We rode the Valley of the God’s and John’s Canyon it was very fun, and
challenging.
On the second day we left with 22 machines, we rode Combe Ridge, and Butler Wash. We also
visited San Juan Hill, the Rincon Outpost, the Riverhouse Ruins, and the Butler Wash Petroglyph
Panels. It was a hot and dusty day. Everyone maintained a great attitude and appeared to enjoy
themselves despite the unfavorable heat and dust. It is amazing to watch our club grow and see
our members enjoying our sport.
We held our post ride BBQ Saturday. The wind was a challenge, but everyone helped and we
were able to get a fresh hot, slightly dusty meal into everyone’s belly. We enjoy these post ride
BBQ’s as it gives everyone an opportunity to tell stories and make new friends.
Next month we will be riding the Daniels Summit. Please look to the website for staging area
information. This is a day trip. If you want to make a weekend of it, there are several dry
camping locations in the area, and other options. If the ride or staging area changes for any
reason, we will provide as much notice as possible. Please continue to RSVP in the events on the website for every ride. We would like to remind
you that when you RSVP, it is for how many members are in your party. The people count is
critical to ensure that we have enough food for everyone at the BBQ (post ride). We would also
encourage you to bring a side dish to share and provide some variety to our BBQ’s.
The monthly club meeting will be held at Edge Motor Sports as usual. We look forward to
seeing everyone.
Please watch the website for our Sponsor of the Month. The Sponsor of the Month will be
offering amazing deals for our Club Members. To take advantage of these deals you will be
required to show your membership card. If you have not received your card, please contact the
Club Secretary to obtain your card.
Ride for Life Committee
Hey y’all.
Ride for life is in full planning stage. We have secured a couple trailers and some nice cash
prizes. We are giving away a couple registrations at the BBG on the 5th so don’t forget to
purchase you raffle tickets. We are in need of more SAR people. Please come out and support a
great cause. Wendover is fully open now. No masks or plexiglass required. So, this year we will
be back in the conference center which is much more accommodating.
Don’t forget to get registered ASAP.
See you soon.

PIO/Web Team Committee
Greetings from the Guys on the Web Team. It’s been a pretty quiet month for us. We have
added some new merchandise to the club store like new baseball hats for both the Ladies and
the Guys and also several new flags. Also remember to be nice to your fellow OHVer’s words said in anger or haste can’t be unsaid
and may get you banned from the group.
Ride Coordinator Committee
If you’re undecided whether you are going on the July Club ride in Panguitch or not, we’d
encourage you to call ASAP and reserve a room/RV spot since most have cancellation
allowances (please verify). It’s better to have a room/RV Spot and not need it than to need it
and not have it. We are not endorsing any of these places, we just did some research and found
some hotels and RV Parks in Panguitch, Utah on the internet. This isn’t all-inclusive, there are
other hotels, restaurants and RV Parks in the city as well as in surrounding areas. Again, you are
responsible for checking all the details with each business as they may change via business
needs.
