May Club Ride – Kanab

May’s club ride will be occurring May 17th and 18th in the Kanab area. Staging will be at the Crocodile trailhead on Johnson Canyon Road (17 miles from Kanab). From the Kanab Visitor Center/(BLM Office), travel east on Highway 89 for 8.6 miles. Turn left onto Johnson Canyon Road. Follow Johnson Canyon Road for 7.8 miles before reaching the trailhead on the left-hand side of the road. There are paid and BLM camping options in the area near the trailhead. Hotel options are in Kanab. Friday we will ride in Hog Canyon. This will be an advanced/technical trail and we will have people to get everyone through obstacles. We will have the club bbq Friday. Saturday will be an easy/moderate trail and be about 80 miles. We will stage at 9am and depart promptly at 10am both days.
