March Club Ride – Silver Island Mtn (Wendover)

Silver Island Mtn. (Wendover): This will be a day ride. We will stage at 9am and depart at 10am. Travel to exit 4 on I-80 (about 117 miles from SLC). Turn right and travel norther 1.2 miles on North Bonneville Speedway Rd. Turn left on Leppy Pass Rd. and travel .7 miles and bear right on Silver Island Rd and travel .2 miles to the staging area. There is dry camping available at the trailhead. Look for the Club trailer. We will follow a route around the base of the mountains viewing several scenic spots. This trail will be mostly easy and be between 80-100 miles so you may want extra gas. If you want spending the night in Wendover is an option. **If you want to sign up for the separate Danger Cave DNR guided tour, this will start promptly at 8am from the trailhead and a separate $20 fee is required.
