April Club Ride – Moab (Dome Plateau and Top of the World)
April 11 @ 9:00 am - April 12 @ 5:00 pm
Free
April’s club ride will be occurring east of Moab at Dome Plateau & Top of the World trails. There are hotels in Moab (about 1 hour drive) as well as campgrounds and dry camping near the staging area. The staging area will be at the Dewey Bridge site for both rides. There is a vault toilet at the site. We will begin staging at 9am, riders meeting at 9:45am, and depart at 10am. We will have the club bbq after Friday’s ride.
Dome Plateau is an easy-moderate ride will beautiful vistas. Top of the World is an advanced trail and has many difficult spots . Most will have bypasses. We will have spotters to help.
There is a large dry camping area 4 miles east of the staging area just off of the highway (north side near the corrals) that will accomodate many large trailers/groups. The coordinates are:
38.86088, -109.29504 and here is a Google Maps link to the spot https://maps.app.goo.gl/7ZBHaCueBnWfmkRf6. The Dewey Bridge Campground ONLY allows 2 vehicles in a spot (your trailer is counted as 1). You can reserve a group site or 2 single sites. There is also dry camping further up the dirt road at the staging area.
For those staying in hotels ONLY- there is a good sized gravel lot immediately across the river from the staging area and the entrance to Dome Plataeu. The coordinates are: 38.81301, -109.30261 and here is a Google Maps link to the spot https://maps.app.goo.gl/72LJTA1bdUmPuAak9. This is where you should park. DO NOT park at the entrance to Dome Plataeu!
We’ll have signs up.
Machine RSVP
How many MACHINES (ATV or SXS) will you be bringing? Not the number of total riders, just number of machines so we can plan accordingly.
BBQ RSVP
How many PEOPLE will be attending the after ride BBQ? This is so we can plan accordingly.
The club provides the hamburgers and hotdogs, all we ask is that everyone attending bring something to share with the group.
