Welcome – The February club ride in Cherry Creek ended up being a fantastic day. We had 60
machines when we left, unfortunately 3 machines left us early. Two because they were
expecting a more technical ride and one due to a medical reason. We are happy to report all
three machines and their riders/passengers returned safely. When we returned to the staging
area, we enjoyed a hot meal of chili and soups. Everyone reported having a great time. We
laughed and made new friends. Thanks to everyone who came out for the ride, it was a fun day.
This month has proved exciting for our Club. We hosted a booth at this year’s Off-Road Expo.
Thank you to everyone for their support. Many members stopped at the booth and visited, and
we successfully recruited some new members. There were conversations with previous
members that may lead to some new events. We will also be hosting a booth at the UVU Expo
in March. Please try to stop by and show your support. We are going to attempt to have a
presence at every event scheduled this year. To do that we will be asking our members for their
help. Please watch the website and Facebook for your opportunity to help out.
MARCH RIDE
For March the plan is to ride out of Mesquite. For our Club this will be a new experience in an
unfamiliar area. All experienced riders know the trail conditions can vary drastically, from dry to
muddy and covered in snow. We should anticipate everything and plan accordingly. For those
that area attending, please remember to order your off-road permit for Arizona and see the
requirements of Nevada. If you need assistance or have questions, please contact one of your
board members. You can find staging and ride details on the website.
For our April ride in Fillmore, please see the Ride Coordinator section of this newsletter and the
website for more ride information.
Please continue to RSVP in the events on the website for every ride and/or the BBQ. The first
option should be utilized if you are planning on attending the BBQ. We would like to remind
you that when you RSVP for the BBQ, it is for how many members are in your party. The people
count is critical to ensure that we have enough food for everyone at the BBQ (post ride). We
would also encourage you to bring a side dish to share and provide some variety to our BBQ’s.
The second option is simply to RSVP that you are planning on attending, this will be for machine
count.
Please continue to watch the website for our Sponsor of the Month. The Sponsor of the Month
will be offering amazing deals for our Club Members. To take advantage of these deals you will
be required to show your membership card. If you have not received your card within 30 days
of payment for your registration, please contact the Club Secretary to obtain your card.

Hello everyone, Dan with the safety crew here. this coming month I just want to remind
everyone that is going on the mesquite ride. You must have a flag on your machine, it must be 8
feet from the ground to the top. Please take a few minutes and check your trailers and your
bike to make sure they are ready for the long journey down. look forward to seeing everyone
on the ride.

Hello everyone. We are thinking about playing an odometer game at the Mesquit ride. You

selected machine and closest person gets a prize 😀Please check the Facebook page for the
post about the game and comment if it’s something you would like to do.

Merchandising Committee
Hey ya’ll. We’ve purchased quite a bit of club merchandise as we want to offer our club
members some deals on some of it over the next few months.
We’ve also had a donation from a vendor with a lot of machine items (door bags, mirrors, shock
covers, lighted grab handles, door hydration packs and much, much more). We’re getting
inventory done now, and those items will be available soon.
We’re planning to have the club merchandise at all club meetings and rides. So come with cash,
Venmo or a credit card (Venmo and credit card – PayPal, are subject to having cell service on
rides) and we’ll get ya hooked up.
Please keep in mind, items purchased on the website, will need to be picked up, or meet me
locally (Salt Lake Valley) to get you your items. We can also bring them to the club meetings or
rides.
See ya’s on the trail, hopefully styling with some club flair!!!
